-Introduction
The Zunis use a lunar calendar of twelve months roughly similar to the Gregorian calendar. The Zunis celebrate their New Year at the same time as the Gregorian calendar moves over to the New Year as well--in the dead of winter. The generic calendar you see at left will just provide an general Zuni calendar of twelve months and what usually happens during each of those months. The current events calendar I will try to update as whenever I can. It will contain the dates upcoming celebrations and when times of Deshkwi will come. As dates of events in Zuni are usually announced at the last minute by the sun priest, this should be helpful to any Zunis outside of the pueblo.
